Philip's mouthpiece is a comfortable, high ported, back angled Weymouth in Grey Sweet iron. åÊ
Sweet iron will encourage a young or unbalance horse to take the bit and carry it correctly.
The port is bent with a 45degree angle over the tongue. This will give the tongue more freedom and encouraging the horse to be forward and work into the contact.
The chain is important to divide the pressure between the mouth-poll and chin.
